When on business, you are most likely to stay in a 3-star to 5-star hotel. You will most likely be working at a hectic pace and the services at a 4-5 star hotel will be invaluable, especially if you are traveling internationally.

Hot Tip:

A 5-star hotel is increasingly important in the more remote cities of countries that you cannot speak the native language.

Having someone at the concierge or reception desk at the hotel who can speak your native language as fluently as is required to get directions or get things done is essential. In the more remote cities even what is considered “fluent” English can be a moot point and extremely frustrating in the moment but much more effective than not being able to sort out issues and problems.
