Hotel Smart Phone
A recent development is the offer of a complimentary hotel smart phone. You can take it with you from the hotel for use during your stay. They are usually provided to high status level guests, suite reservation guests and in some cases they are in every room of the hotel.
They provide:
- a local telephone number for people to call you from,
- free local calls and/or calls to a limited daily amount
- apps installed which you can use for free like maps, restaurant guides, etc
- data downloading
Of course, if you lose or misuse the telephone you pay for it and some services available on the telephone need to be paid for. All the usage information and conditions are outlined with the telephone.
