Fornetto Mei

Italian for “beautiful little oven”, Fornetto Mei is a great Italian restaurant in Chicago. It is at the Whitehall Hotel across the street from Four Seasons Hotel. the menu is wide ranging Italian fare and the pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven. You can sit at the pizza bar or the bar and eat so it is great if you are travelling on business and are in town on your own.  The wine list is really good and the even have half bottles, also great for solo travelers. Reasonably priced for the great food that is presented. Because it is at a hotel, they also serve breakfast. Great cocktails all day!!
