Merea

Merea is an Italian, seafood restaurant on Central Park South. The room is beautiful with wood paneling and windows on 2 sides to maximize the light. The food is Italian influenced seafood which is very evident. The wine list is extensive. The service was inconsistent that day I was there but probably an exception. Set prices for 2 or 3 courses are offered or you can order a la carte. It is relatively expensive but not over the top. The bar is always full on week nights and the lunch and dinner menu are served there also … so if you are on your own, this is a great venue.

Brunch: 11:30am – 2:30pm

Dinner: Monday-Thursday 5:30pm – 11:00pm, Friday-Saturday 5:00pm – 11:30pm, Sunday 5:00pm – 10:30pm
