The Cherry Circle Room

The Cherry Circle Room is the main restaurant in the Chicago Athletic Association. It is an old world private club that has been re-imagined as a fabulous restaurant with a casual atmosphere. The space is very special. It is wood paneled. The bar is beautifully crafted. The menu was presented leather bound which matches the atmosphere. The menu selections are varied and they have a wine list to match. The service was a bit all over the place the night I dined here but The Manager stepped in as he saw things were not quite right, indicating that they were not delivering at the level they hope to.

Well recommended for out of town visitors, lovers of old-world dining venues with wine lists to match. The story of the room, its restoration and art is well worth asking after. The tables are all booths. Around the outside of the room, the booths sweep around in a U-Shape. This would be a great venue for a business dinner for out of towners as much as a family brunch.

The entrance to the Chicago Athletic Association is on Michigan Ave, this restaurant is at the back of the building. There are plenty staff to help you find it.
